I love having adventures!

Let's see.  What happened this week?  Let's start with Wednesday.  As you may or may not know, every Wednesday I go to the Abbey Underground (a local bar) to enjoy what we call Pubstep.  At Pubstep, we got burner Nick 4D as a resident DJ, and once a month we got Ghost Daddies which consists of burners Sean Sparks and Boston.  And usually Fropsi plays too.  Of the four, Fropsi is my favorite DJ, but don't let them know this, cuz DJ's can be prima donas.

This last Wednesday was another Ghost Daddies set, and I convinced Sean, Nick, and Bastard Mike, that it would be freakin awesome if we made it FancyStep.  It's just what it sounds like, everyone dressing up really fancy, acting a little snobbish, and shit.  Our DJ friends really got into the idea, and created a set list specifically to go with the theme.  Stuff like Swing House and shit.  Here is a link to B-Town's set.  That had to be one of my favorite nights out there.

It started with Rachel picking me up at my place around 7.  I wasn't dressed at all, so I quickly threw on my suit and pockets my eyeliner.  Then we went over to Marlon's place for a little pre-partying.  I had been gifted a bottle of ronrico vanilla rum that day so I took that along too.  When we got there, I immediately started drinking while goofing off with Katy, Coty, Sheyanne, Walys, Matt, Bryson, and maybe other people I'm forgetting for two hours.  There were cookies there, to, and they were quite yummy.  By the time Rachel and I left around 9ish, I was pretty toastily inebriated.

We got there before anyone else, but that's cuz we are smarter than the other kids.  From 9 til 11 wells are 50 cents.  50 cents!  So we slide a bunch of tables together and set into drinking.  Andy gets there 30 minutes later and he's developed himself a smarmy elitist personality.  It was quite funny so I tried to imitate him.  We played pool while talking about stocks and business and new money and shit.  He never broke character, which I did all the time, but then again, I dominated him at pool... so I guess that makes us both winners.  By the end of the game our friends from Marlon's are starting to show up.

As I'm sitting there socializing, resisting the urge to dance, I notice Rodney and Robin come in.  Rodney is shyly making eyes at me.  How cute.  Rodney is the cute little gay boy whom I made out with for his birthday a week ago on Karaokee night.  Him and his cute little punk friend.  She was there too.  It was all Robin's idea.  She's a good friend.  So I talk to him, flirt a little, and then give into the urge.  The urge to DANCE!

This was about the time Boston took over the 1's and 2's, so the music was very good.  And all around me were my burner family.  I love those fuckers so much.  I danced with them, and even dance floor flirted with Walys, with whom I have a crazy huge crush on (which scares the crap out of me so I rarely talk to her).  Oh so much fun.  About an hour into the dancing, and the dance floor is getting really popular.  I start dancing with Rodney, doing a little grinding action, and eventually just start making out with him on the dance floor.  Did I mention he's a really good kisser?  I also found very entertaining the reaction of people on the dance floor.  I could almost hear them thinking "wait, is he gay?  I thought he was straight.  Why are all the cute ones gay.  Wait, he just smiled really flirtily with me.  Is he bi?"  I DEFY ALL LABELS!  lol.  I wish I could have been making out with Walys instead, but you win some you lose some, and that night was definitely a win.

So eventually we make it back to Marlon's place, which is where things get kinda fuzzy.  I remember biting on Shiny's neck and back.  I find this awesome because while I am very attracted to Shiny, she's Marlon's girlfriend and my burner mumsi.  So friggin WIN.  What else happened that night?  My roommate Charlie brings Rodney and Robin over to Marlon's place... um... Stranger was there too.  He's a really cool kid I will tell you guys more about later, I'm sure.  Anyways, blur, but I eventually wake up around 6am or so with Rodney's head on my chest.  CUDDLE WIN!

And now it's Thursday.  I think I've decided that Thursday is my sabbath, my day of rest, since I tend to be hung over on those days.  I don't think I did much more than sleep and read and play a little nintendo DS.

Friday I resumed my usual routine of going to the library and slipping my attention between Facebook and trying to find a job.  I think I made this website on Friday.  Maybe?  Lol, my memory sucks.  Anyways, while on Facebook, Cecil offers to let me borrow his Huawei phone.  This is a sexy little phone and he shows me how to use it to make and receive free calls as long as I got wifi through Google Voice.   After that we walk together to Billy and Katie's place, make ourselves a drink, and then all four of us walk to the Abbey Underground.  (if you haven't figured this out yet, I really love that bar)  Turns out Clint is there, whom I haven't seen in 3ish months.  Clints a cool kid, a science fiction writer with some cool ideas who enjoys sharing those ideas and hearing others too.  He's also working on a web comic too, can't wait to share it with ya'll.  We sit around for a couple hours having a good time and then we go back to Billy and Katie's, all the while talking about shit like aliens, emotional freedom, and other cool shit.  I then walk with Cecil over to Damn Dawg cuz there was the possibility that Chang and Eng would be coming over and we might be having a COLD camp reunion thingy if they did.  Turns out no, they did not come over, but oh well, we made spaghetti instead.  It was yummy.  I enjoy Cecil's company a lot, he has a great heart and is interested in the same spiritual concepts I am.  I walk Cecil back to University, but no further because my foot went rouge and started hurting really bad.  I got to figure out why my foot is acting like this.  It must be upset with me over something, but I'm not sure what.

Sunday started with me barely getting any sleep because I was to excited.  This tends to happen a lot.  I usually get lots of cool ideas and have awesome inner experiences and shit, but I do so love sleep, so I am torn about this.  The thing awesome about this night is I finally opened up the notebook my Twin Flame Rachel gave me over a year ago.  This thing is thick, high quality, and intimidating.  I opened it cuz I wanted to write some shit down and couldn't find anything else.  So happy I did.  Inside it I found a special message she had written me when we had first met.  Man did that shit lift me up.  If you want an idea of what reading what she wrote caused in me, read the first three posts in the Quetzalcoatl page, which is where I'm gonna post my spiritual musings and shit.

I woke up Sunday around 6ish.  Was up that early because I had found a odd job as a focus group participant.  For 20 bucks and some pizza buffet, all I had to do was listen to a music demo and give my opinion and ideas and shit.  I left early to try to find the place, but it turns out it was much closer to my home than I expected.  Luckily, there was a coffee shop next door with free wifi.  While listening to Pandora and goofing off with the phone Cecil had just given me, I noticed a guy and girl walk in.  The girl was all dressed up in a nice a vest and business pants ensemble and was looking cute as hell with her hair pulled back.  The guy was dressed a lot more casually.  I didn't think they were a couple, but maybe they have a professional relationship?  I tried not to stare at her to much.  I eventually noticed she had a boombox.  Oh, I wonder if she's doing that focus group thing... that boombox is kinda small.  So I asked her.  Yup.  I continued to listen to Pandora and not check her out as much as possible while I waited for the thing to start.

11 o'clock and she gets up and heads next door.  I wait for the song I'm listening to to end and follow.  And who should I see sitting there but Robin (from that adventure at Fancystep).  I sit next to her and wait for her to notice me.  Lucky?  Hi :)  Omg, hey! etc etc.  We were silly the entire time while still being quietly respectful of what we were doing.  The music was weird.  Potentially awesome.  The guys vocal style made me think of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, that sorta dark mysterious.  The percussions were all over the place though, sometimes Caribbean, sometimes Spanish salsaish.  It was a cacophony of sounds, to much genre blending.  I hope he goes with the dark mysterious sound.  And adds more depth. subtlety to the lyrics, cuz they reminded me of New Age Christian worship lyrics.

Nine songs later and 20 bucks richer, I head to the corner of Fort Worth and Carroll where all the (politically correct) people stand around waiting for some odd labor jobs.  I stand back a ways and just watch for a few hours.  I didn't want to step on any toes and I wanted to see what the procedure was.  After 3 or so hours, a grand total of two guys got picked up, both white gentlemen who I didn't get a good feeling about by a uhaul truck.  There's got to be a better way.  So I came up with the idea of a big colorful sign.  Marketing Bitch!

So it's about 4p.m. Saturday and I'm walking through the square on my way to buy the supplies needed to make a sign and who do I see, but Chris Lopez.  I went to the same Junior College as Chris.  While there we were something of friends.  When it turned out we both lived in Denton later, we hung out again (at the Abbey, of course).  He moved away like 5 months ago though.  So I was kinda surprised to see him.  I call out his name and he is immediately happy to see me.  We hug it out and I offer to go catch a drink with him, and catch up.  This was at 4 right?  I think me and him finally parted ways 6 hours and probably 50 dollars of beer later, all paid for by him.  And it turns out that I'm not the only one having an interesting adventure through life.  I won't mention anything specific though, to protect his privacy.  (I think I'm getting better at this privacy filter thingy).

While at Lucky Lou's (a bar on Fry Street), as I'm about to walk into the restroom, I see Josh.  At least, I thought it was Josh, because as soon as I saw him, I started swinging.  Not seriously, playfully, but not to softly either.  We like to play rough.  I guess he recognized me too, cuz he didn't stomp my face into the ground.  ^.^  At this point I stop paying to much attention to Chris (sorry Chris!) and instead catch up with Josh, who has been up in New York with his crazy friends and family.  Josh is a cool kid, I'm gonna have to tell ya'll more about him later.  But me and him spar a few times IN the friggin bar.  I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out, but no one seemed to mind.  We play some darts, me, Josh, Chris, and Josh's friend whos name I dont remember right now.  Chris leaves around 10 and the rest of us head over to Fast House where Josh lives.  We wrestle a lot more seriously while there, put some holes in his walls trying to force this bed into this little nook (which we did eventually figure out how to do.  About midnight I finally head home.

While wandering toward home, quite tipsy, I hear the sounds of a house party and follow the music.  I have no experience gate crashing, but I was very tempted to do so anyways.  I ask some girls heading to the house where the party's at, but they don't reply, which discourages me.  So instead I strike up a conversation with this guy who left the house party.  We hit it off quickly and he invited me to come over to his place for some drinks.  I suspected he was gay, and wanted more than just drinks, but hey, I'm not one to turn down free drinks.  So we grab a 6 pack of Blue Moon and head over to his apartment.  His name is Travis and he's taught English in Korea last year.  How friggin awesome?

Man, what a good week.
